Michael Hosier, Musician and Founder
As a survivor of abuse and trafficking, I know what it means to overcome overwhelming odds. I understand the feeling of society looking down on you. I've experienced firsthand what it’s like to hear people tell you that your dreams are too big, and that you’ll never make it. But I’m living proof that you can. Don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s impossible.
God gives each of us unique talents and the dream to reach greatness through those gifts. It’s the world that tries to beat that dream out of us. Thankfully, God never let me lose my love for music, my love for others, or my determination to keep pushing forward. There was a time when I gave up, but He never gave up on me.
Now, it’s my mission to find people like me and help them achieve their dreams. No, I’m not a star, and I never will be. But I’ve paved roads and built bridges through the most difficult and dangerous paths, so I can be a servant to others. I can help them become stars. And that, my friend, is how I can honor the sacrifices made by my adoptive parents. It’s how, one day, I’ll look my momma in the eyes again and know that I’ve made both her and Dad proud.
When I leave this world, I want to leave behind an army of musical soldiers—artists who will carry their greatness to future generations. How incredible will that be to talk about while hanging out with Jesus?
